  Look at other Dyson Models First May 10, 2008

This may look like a very low cost Dyson, and there is a reason. It is bulky, heavy and noisy. The motors on DC07's can overheat and cut out, I've had it happen to my DC07. After the first year, Dyson will still fix it but charge you over 1/2 the cost of this unit new to replace the motor. Please read the reviews of the DC07 Origin Yellow/Silver before buying this, as it has the same overall design flaws. It's a powerful machine, but seemingly designed for power rather than reliability.
If you do want a Dyson upright, and they can be very good, then my advice is to look at later models first.
