Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Too much hype too little quality   March 14, 2008

Moleskine are a premium priced product and have a very good marketing campaign based on the usage of this design of notebook by famous personages in the arts world. Unfortunately they used a version made by a Parisian bookbinder and not these versions that are made in China I believe. However lured by the mystique and the trendy image, I purchased one of these little daily diaries.

The fact that it is a hardback is a good and i dare say it will last but the biggest problem is the quality of the paper. I have bought pads in a pound store with better quality paper. I use a fountain pen and the ink seeps straight through the paper like blotting paper. I cannot write well with a ball point so switched to a gel pen but the problem is still there. This poor quality paper is very disappointing and I will not be buying another item from this manufacturer.

5 out of 5 stars I like it   February 17, 2008
This feels right, has a reassuring quality about it and is eminently useful without having a load of gimmicky stuff in it like some of it's competitors. Buy one - you won't regret it.
