Is it a grower? May 14, 2008 As with some of the previous reviewers, I find myself challenging the suggestion that ths is a return to form for The Leps. Unlike many other reviewers and fans, I am not focused on Hysteria as the pinnacle of Lepppard's achievements...for me Pyromania is THE album and for me, one of the top 10 greatest hard rock albums of all time. I really wanted a Pyromania Volume 2, but we've ended up with something that I want to like but can't quite get there after about 4 listens. I hope its a grower!

Not a lot to say really, just average. Played the cd about 10 times now, want to like it but it does not have a spark(le). Def Leppard give up now.
Rock on! May 12, 2008 It's good to hear new material from Def Leppard and they certainly do not disappoint. It's somewhat heavier than either X or Euphoria with only one ballad, but that's certainly no bad thing. My favourite track on the album is "Tomorrow".
Best album since Hysteria...of course it is, everything since Hysteria has been total muck! May 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I totally agree that this is Leppards best since Hysteria, it is, but when you consider the fact that eveything since Hysteria has been total crap its hardly suprising.
Im a big Leppard fan and have seen them live a number of times, but when it comes to Leppard the live performances is the only reason to still be a fan. They are amazing live, mind blowing atmosphere and Joes voice is always electric but these last few albums including 'X' and 'Yeah' are just embarressing, I want to like them but cant. I met Joe Elliot in the HMV store where I used to work, he just came in one day and my mate got the 'X' album autographed. All I could think was 'How could a legend like Joe Elliot want to admit and actually sign his name to something that bad?' Its pathetic I know but I just couldnt help thinking like that.
Despite this album been terrible, I have tickets to see them with Whitesnake and I know it will be an incredible night. They never let me down live, shame I cant say the same about their studio work.
Lets Get Rocked!
A real return to form! May 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although I have liked the previous few albums from Def Leppard, this one is a real triumph. Has some classic sounding Def Leppard tracks on it, with excellent guitar parts, classic Def Leppard harmonies and silly lyrics! Go on by it. . . .you definatly will not regret it!
