Built to a cost September 29, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You have to congratulate Black & Decker's cost engineers. They've trimmed everything possible from ths economy model, while still leaving it functional. It's cheap and cheerful, the clover won't like it, but don't expect it to transform your patch of grass into a putting green.
Black & Decker Lawnraker July 27, 2006 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
The lawn rake did a great job and it was easily assembled. My only critical point with it, is that it is quite a low handle and I found myself stooped over it. I am over 6ft so anyone smaller wouldn't have this concern as much. I couldn't believe the amount of dead grass and moss that it lifted. It definitely does its job.
excellent piece of kit June 14, 2006 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought one of these after a few people recommended a scarifier for my garden. I wasnt disappointed. It really does a superb job and has rid my garden of unsightly weeds.
no go from get go April 22, 2006 13 out of 17 found this review helpful
Out of the box and put together, plug it in and.... nothing. The safety device in the handle did not work and I had to take it apart and fix it (twice so far). Doesnt instill confidence in a new tool. Also the rods that fit into the basket keep falling out. Not worth the money.. When it does work it works quite well
No More Moss December 26, 2004 58 out of 59 found this review helpful
This lawnrake made a massive difference on my lawn. Which was full of moss and dead matter. I found that the lawnrake picked up more grass and moss on the raking level than I actually got from the lawn mower when cutting the grass. Within a few cuts and rakes the effects were noticable.
