Not as good as the previous model April 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We initially had the 4000 series model, and were all very impressed with it. When it finally gave up after years of good performance, we got the 7000 series Elite. After a while, it became apparent that this model did not clean teeth as well as the earlier model. They felt clean enough, but the poor results were visible. We now have the new 9000 series, and not only does it have a neat toothbrush head, it cleans as well as the first model did, and only took a week to show positive results.
10/10 it is the ultimate I have used. March 27, 2008 I used to use one of the sonicare 4000 range until it broke after 4 years! This seams much improved. Its light - feels easy to hold - the timer helps a lot, It both looks and feels good. My dentist / hygienist and myself have noticed a difference. Some have complained at a two year life span, well its guaranteed for two years so if it last that long its 25 per year BARGIAN ! Don't think twice its 50 well spent.
Shocking Product February 19, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Have used it for 2 months, it makes your teeth feel clean after brushing, but when you look in the mirror my teeth have never looked so bad before! Also it doesnt even touch inbetween teeth so have to floss aswell which i never had to do with a normal brush. I have now gone back to using a normal toothbrush and using the electric briefly just to make them feel clean. Would advise to stick with normal toothbrush, save 50 and get cleaner teeth
fantastic product for this price!! November 30, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
i was browsing around for a new electric toothbrush and i came across this product with sonic technology, and seeing it was half the price i instinctively brought one. For 12 months i was using braun, it was great while it lasted but once i started using the HX7351 i could tell the difference.... who knew that 2 minutes is all it takes to give you lasting fresh breath through out the day. The sonic waves gave a tingling feeling during the first brush but nevertheless got use to the sensation. I recommend this product to anyone and at this price who can argue!
Does what it says on the box, your teeth feel really clean November 4, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I had been using a Braun electric toothbrush for many years but it began to feel cumbersome and heavy in the mouth especially on the gums. I wanted something that was lighter, had longer battery power and a carrying case. The Philips is far superior in two main points: 1) Brushing quality; your teeth feel really clean and much better after being brushed with the Philips and I've found much less when I floss and 2) The battery life is long I have taken it away for a week on vacation without the charger. This is a very good point if you have the carrying case as a quick trip aboard means you don't need the charger.
It does take a little getting used to as the brush spins quickly so you can end up with water all over the mirror but its worth it as your teeth feel really good and picking up the Braun again is like handing a stone age device.
The things I don't like are the price of the replacement heads which are very expensive and it is a little fiddly to clean as the grime seems to rest in the joints making it less pristine looking than it should.
