Excellent value, great design and features, very good purchase all round. November 2, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have always had Braun hairdryers so I may be slightly biased, but I keep buying them because they are so good. Really good quality, my last 2 lasted for about 8 or 9 years each, and my Grandma still has one in perfect working order from the 80's! This model is really light, has 3 heat and speed settings which is more than most, and a cool shot that really is cool air. The ionic function really does make my thick wavy hair less frizzy, took less time to dry it. Overall I am very happy with the product as I think it offers exceptional value, looks good, and gives great results.
Excellent! February 23, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
My old Braun hairdryer started to give up the ghost last week after 5 years of happy drying. I wanted to replace it and have tried 2 other models this week, one of which kept cutting out, and the other of which (a Tresemme one) had the controls placed really awkwardly which made drying tricky. I have now bought this dryer and all my prayers are answered! It's really easy to use, the controls are on the back and are big rubberised slidey buttons for good grip and easy access. Recommended!
Believe the hype! August 22, 2006 18 out of 20 found this review helpful
I have never before felt compelled to write a review until now. I bought this hairdryer not so long ago. I was rather sceptical about the whole ionic thing. I was considering buying a very expensive model but plumped for this dryer instead. Ionic hairdryers are supposed to, as far as I know, make your hair dry faster and leave it in better condition due to the airflow of negative ions.
Since using this dryer - the time take to dry by hair has reduced considerably from 25 minutes to less than 10 minutes! My hair also feels in better condition - it doesn't feel frazzled and dry. I have definitely seen an improvement.
I agree with some of the reviewers here - the nozzle is very big so not so good for precision styling and the dryer could be seen as a little unwieldy because of its size but it is very light. The controls are easy to use and don't get switched to other settings as I have found on other dryers. The cold shot is true and the length of the cord is a good length too.
All in all I am very pleased I bought this hairdryer and I would wholeheartedly recommend this model to anyone.
This is a really great hairdryer March 1, 2005 46 out of 48 found this review helpful
I got this from Amazon for over 10 cheaper than in the shops. I have already noticed that my hair is much less frizzy and flyaway when dried. In addition, my hair appears to be in much better condition too.The dryer is nice and light with a good, long cord. If you don't want to use the ionic setting, you can turn it off, which is great. Buy one!
Not bad but what is Ionic?? January 15, 2005 23 out of 25 found this review helpful
I have been using salon bought hairdryers for years, but as I was desperate I bought this one. I was surprised as its got the power of a salon hairdryer and it did the job really well. I have fine hair and alot of it and due to having alot of bleach highlights it goes a bit fluffy after I wash it.... but it was lovely and sleek after using the dryer. Having had hairdressing experience I don't think I would tackle thick wavy or curly hair as the nozzle is a bit wide and may cause frizz! If you have thick hair go for the salon dryers!! Plus what is this Ionic all about...it does say, just a sales pitch? Over all I would say 8/10 a good powerfull dryer but a bit big around the rear!!!
