5 out of 5 stars Thanks   January 10, 2008
Thanks for the GHD's
there well good (Y)
they work well with shwarzkopf heat defence
must admit the only down point was the postage as it was a bit steep at 4.00 but it was worth it

5 out of 5 stars amazing   January 10, 2008
I nearly cried when my mk3 GHDs stopped working the other day, but they are now long forgotten. I thought the mk3 ones were good but the mk4 ones are amazing. I have shoulder length curly hair which even with the MK3 could take 30 mins to straighten, it took me 15 mins the first time I used these, and my hair was still perfectly straight the following morning, I normally needed to do at least half of my head again. These are brilliant and I don't plan on ever being without them! Not sure how these could ever be bettered - unless they float magically round your head and straighten your hair for you!

5 out of 5 stars great   January 6, 2008
they're really great as they only heat up in about ten seconds.

i've seen some reviews saying that they've damaged their hair by using them but i once used my ghds without putting any protective spray on - it looked ok but my hair was slightly damaged. you need to use some kind of protecting spray which is a good quality too.

they may be expensive but well worth the money. my mum and sister didn't think they'd be that good but now they're always using my ghds too.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic!   December 26, 2007

My hair is very thick and at the moment have lots of split ends from straightening my hair so often with my previosu straighteners. I have had my new ghds for about 2 weeks now and have really noticed a difference. It takes me about the same amount of time to straighten it, about 20-25 minutes. But my hair is completley straight, no staticness, no spit ends sticking out and the straightness lasts until i next wash it, unless ive been out in bad weather conditions.

The first time i tried to curl with the ghds it look stupid, so make sure you practice a couple of times until you get it right before you curl it to go out. Curling on my thick hair takes about 30-40 minutes and you can feel it damaging your hair a bit but as long as you don't constantly curl it i think it will be okay.

Its so nice to have sleekier and straighter hair without going to the salon.
Definitly worth the money.

I have used straighteners that i supposedly 'better than ghds' but i definitly do not agree. I think at this present time, the ghds are the best straighteners around that the public can buy.

5 out of 5 stars Must have, simply amazing   November 5, 2007

I have extremely thick hair and like to style my hair up (spiky), i have tried lots of different hair straighteners and none have worked how i wanted them to my hair falls down after about 30mins or so (with added wax & hair spray).

My friend has a pair of MK4's and he let me try them out and i was simply amazed at the results my hair looked a lot straighter then i have ever seen it and i can get my hair to stay up how i want it and it stays up all night long without falling down, the next day i ordered a pair for myself and i must say it's money well spent.
