Normally have to shave my legs every other day as I'm an impoverished student and can't afford leg waxes.
Bought this when it was half price and the first time I used it, the results lasted for just over 2 weeks! I then wore trousers for a couple of days, so it was 3 weeks before I used it again. As a busy student nurse with little time for myself, this will be a godsend over the summer months.
Tried it a little on my bikini line, but as yet, can only do a few seconds each side. Will persevere though.

I brought this product against all my friends advice who told me epilating was far too painful. I'm glad that I decided to buy it anyway. Was slightly nervous and spent a few days just taking it out the box and looking at it. When I decided to give it a go I was pleasantly surprised!! Having never epilated before, it really is not as painful as I was led to believe - a slight uncomfortable feeling and that was mostly at the back of my legs. I did not need the ice pack and it took me less than half an hour for both (half) legs. The finish was fantastic, will see how the hairs grow back and will definitely consider using it on my underarms. There is no mess or any additional item to buy with this product i.e. shaving cream, blades etc, so forget shaving/removal creams - this is the way to go and as one of the higher end products in its range a fantastic price into the bargain!!!

Less painful than waxing, especially if you use the ice pack; and very effective. Even sensitive areas like underarms were less painful than waxing. The only downside is that it is noisy and only runs off the mains. Otherwise reliable, easy and cheap to use.

Great value for a great machine. The narrow head for facial hair is very useful and the light is a brilliant idea. After first time pain especially underarm, it definately gets easier and less painful and leaves excellent smooth skin. No pin prick marks like shaving leaveson your legs.

After deciding to buy an epilator, I did a bit of research and went for this one because it came with cooling gel and had a shaver option.
For my first attempt, I was definitely glad of the cooling gel and the less intense epilator head as it hurt like hell but did take an age to do just half a leg. After the first time though, it got easier and the gel and start head hasn't been used on the legs since. I've started to venture into other areas now - the bikini line is suprisingly OK, given I am ultra sensitive there but the tops of legs are still quite painful.
The particularly useful function is the light - it really shows up where you have missed odd hairs. One thing that may have been useful that I recall seeing on another is something to stretch the skin while using the epilator although I can actually this myself anyway.
Definitely worth a go for starters, although more experienced users might want different features as their pain threshold increases.
