Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Use an extra iPod Power Adapter for home office or travel. The FireWire based adapter allows you to charge your iPod when not connected to a computer. Just plug the adapter into a wall outlet and (depending on model) connect a 6−6 pin FireWire

1 out of 5 stars Absolute Rubbish   April 8, 2008
The "Power Adapter" is not USB, which is bad enough (your iPod uses a USB connector) however the fact that it doesn't even come with a lead adds insult to injury.
To sum up, if you want to buy a very expensive plug without a cable - then this is one for you.

The Firewire version (M8636*/C) comes with adapters for U.K, U.S. & Euro power supplies. Doesn't come with Firewire cable.Looks good & charges iPod just fine. USB version is part No. M9837B/A

Im an ipod user and have been for many years. In the past before buying and owning an ipod, i have come across many faulty products which havent been worth the money.
In this case , this adapter for all ipods has been a life saver. Its just always been there and can simply "charge" the ipod.
The practicallity of it is extremly brilliant and is advised you buy this adapter, not just because it charges your ipod ,but it looks kool two, therefore this adapter is absolutely worth the money and is a thumbs up from me.
