Waste of Time and Money - again May 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought in July 07; April 08 - one of the pins has snapped off. Another useless Uniross product - I should have learnt the first time.
It will eventuall fry your batteries... November 11, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I used the original version of this for about a year and it was fine. In the last few months however, it has become less and less effective. The batteries now barely hold their charge at all. Which is a shame, because it was good whist it lasted.
Brillinant October 17, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This charger, at this price - it includes four cells as well - is just very good value. It does the job and works well for me. I use a flash card digital audio recorder in my work as a sound recordist, and it runs that for a full recording session, and with a spare set of cells, one set working and one set charging I never have to worry about mains supplies whilst on a job.
Poor quality September 12, 2007 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
The plug is very loose on these as mentioned previously. We charge batteries everyday due to baby monitor, camera etc. This unit has only last 2 months before deciding not to charge batteries and the plug braking.
There are better chargers out there.
Quality control? July 26, 2007 10 out of 14 found this review helpful
Nowadays, happily, not many things one orders turn out to be dead on arrival. This one was. The charger's integrated 3-pin plug was worryingly loose, straight out of the packaging (which was undamaged). When it was plugged in the charging indicator lamps lit just momentarily then went out. Needless to say it didn't charge batteries. Quality control on these units must be very lax or non-existent. To do them credit, Amazon refunded the price promptly with no quibbles.
