1 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work   April 13, 2008

I've just decided to try out my new memory card in my camera but it doesn't work, giving a message' memory card locked'. I've tryed several times but it just won't work. Worst bit is I threw out the packaging before checking it so can't even return.

5 out of 5 stars Incredible value   March 29, 2008

for 23.00 in March 08,

Complete with card reader, rescue disc, a dinky little bag and awsome tranfer speed.
10 yr guarantee on the card 2 years on the reader.
I can now take over 800 10mp pictures. Two or three of these and I could safari the world with my eye glued to the viewfinder all the way.

I saw the same one last week on the high street for 99. (Curry's digital)

Very impressed with this card. Comes with the sdhc usb reader, a small neoprene travel case and disk to recover lost photos!! Disk seems to work fine with Vista, although i have only tried this quickly!!
Delivery from Amazon was also great. Put this on free delivery and had in my camera within 48hrs!!

I recently bought the Sandisk Extreme III SD 4GB Card through Amazon for 22.98 (including postage). Reviewer A Butterfield is spot on in all of his/her comments about this card. I cannot understand why some of the other reviewers mark this card down because they feel ill done to by a trader or because the supplied cd disc is too small, those facts do not detract from the card itself. The Sandisk Extreme III SD 4GB card is definitely a 5 star card.

5 out of 5 stars Fast, reliable, cheap and includes a card reader   March 5, 2008

The nice thing about this is that you not only get the SDHC card, but also a Sandisk Micromate SD and SDHC card reader, which is basically a USB plug with a slot for the card. This was useful for me because my card reader doesn't read SDHC.
You also get a (tiny) CD with software that will recover files you've deleted but not overwritten, so this gives you a bit of a safety net.
It's a fast class 6 card, so if you're using it with a camera that shoots in RAW, it'll help speed things up compared to a standard SD card.
All this and 4GB for this price... you can't go wrong I guess. Just watch the P+P.
