Good But noisy July 30, 2007 Alot better than my old one, just extremely noisy, have to turn the music up just to get over the tape grinding!!!!!
Top product July 22, 2007 Good price, good quality, straight in the car, worked perfectly. The sound quality isn't outstanding, but thats probably my car stereo more than the adapter, and its perfectly adequate. Does the job fantastically, I'd recommend it
Sounds like being underwater July 21, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm not sure how other people have rated this as usable! It sounds like being under water. Dreadful. Straight in the bin
The Best Available.... July 4, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
If you want to play your MP3 throught the car stereo and you can't hard wire it then there are only two alternatives. Either using an FM transmitter or a car cassette adapter (if you still have a cassette player). Of the two, the sound quality of the latter is superior. This little baby is the best available out there. There is no noise from the mechanism (almost all the others are very noisy), the sound quality is excellent and the price is reasonable.

After using similar products before, I was very sceptical. However, after being failed miserably by the Belkin FM transmitter, I felt that I had nothing to lose. It's brilliant. Does exactly what you want it to do, without any annoying issues like cassette noise, background hiss, poor sound quality or poor built quality. You get near CD quality sound coming from your car speakers, obviously depending on the quality of your source in the first place. This is compared to the below radio quality sound with the FM transmitter. My most low-tech purchase for a long time but the most satisfying to date after all that unexpected frustrations with the Belkin transmitter. If you need something to connect your portable music player to your car stereo, this is it. One of the few times when the low-tech solution is the way forward. Heave a big sigh of relieve and look no further.PSIf it sounds like it's being "underwater", press on your tape reverse button and presto, you should get beautiful sound. It's just the way these adapter works and it applies to all brands/makes.
